Budget Trendy

I'm pretty 100% sure I have a magnetic attraction to silk, which is probably better than most things I attract i.e. CRAZY people.

I thrifted two silk dresses that are a happy edition to my seasonally confused style mash-up closet.  The first is a cocktail dress by Whitley Kros with a Navajo inspired print. The mix of pastel pink and dark teal is completely Spring 2012 trend appropriate, thrown in with an oversized pixelated pattern (see Preen Spring 2012). I'm so budget trendy it hurts.

Shield your eyes kids while I slip into something a little bit more comfortable... I call this next image new age internet porn OR me in a slip, which my mother promptly reminded me is different than a dress.

This snazzy jazzy little number is Lauren Ralph Lauren bridals. Yes, bridals. New with tags.

 I plan on wearing this on an all-white yacht, drinking white wine, with a perfect blue sea floating behind.

Don't worry, it's thrifted of course, I'm single, and the only reason I'm on a yacht is a City Lights cruise.

For the purposes of remaining netural, I will consider this a slip-dress which don't-mind-if-I-DO (see Calvin Klein Spring 2012) layer with another slip and call it a day. You can blame the 90s or the underwear as outwear trend. Who cares! Besides, what better way to channel the all-white trend than to mimic a virginal bride?
