I can't tell you how much I LOVE Fall. Oh wait, yes I can. I LOVE it, love it, love it! I love the air, I love the colors, I love the leafs, I love drinking tea, I love cookies, I love soup. I also love that my inner lazy girl and my inner squirrel get together and go nuts...ahaha...get it?!...squirrels, nuts, fall.... ok ok I'm done.
I've been in a bit of a preppy mood as of late. Weekend sportswear, blazers, collared shirts. Easy dressing wins. I thrifted this oatmeal cotton stripey dress on family day. I think it's just cotton fabric but the stripes feel a bit like terrycloth. Maybe this was a swimsuit coverup? Oh well. Use your imagination.
Perhaps oatmeal isn't the most exciting of colors to you - it certainly didn't jump out at me from the racks, but just imagine how well it will look with rich autumn hued coats, bold scarves, loads of chunky sparkly necklaces, and apple cider in the park. UH HUH. Now we're cookin. This snappy cell phone pic below is just the base for all of those things and more.
