Four Thirty Lucky Me

I found out there is a Salvation Army near my job.    Uh oh.
Decided I should treat myself to a thrift-glance around the store during lunch time.
Clothes instead of lunch? Nah. I love eating too much.

I came across these Rachel Rachel Roy platform clog booties which I think are the happy lovechild if the Jeffrey Campbell LITA met my Sweedish Hasbeens High Heeled Jodphur. Check, check, mate!
or is that check, check, mated?

ANYWHO - I think they are sample shoes that got tossed to the wayside and never got mass produced. Poor shoes, lucky me.  I will probably wear these into the summer with sheer printed maxi skirts or my black leather shorts (last seen here). To top it off they were marked at $7.99 but when I went to the register they only wanted $4.30! Yup, that's four dollars and thirty cents.

  1. Wow, what a great find! I'm currently living in France and I can't find any thrift stores that are as cheap as they were in America!

  3. @Aryn - Thanks! I bet you can find one - I challenge you! Find one good one and stick to it...trust me.

@Eli - You know, it had been soo long (3 weeks) since I last went. I felt like this was a miracle. Also, my foot can fit a 6 shoe to a 7.5. Magically, somehow, don't ask. ;-)
