With the advent of the Fall 2010 collections in full preview there's one standout look that makes me want to take a walk on the wild side:
ANIMAL PRINTBut like most sensible people, I'm not interested in covering myself with fabulous furs in the scorching summer season (TRUTH: there's no bigger turn off than swveaty fur)
Solution? TORN by Ronny Kobo. Jungle heat without all the...heat.

There's definitely more than one attractive and inspiring element to this collection: breathable/easy fabrics, simple silhouettes, and neutral colors to focus your eye on the bold all-over pattern pieces.
I spotted an Allison Taylor leopard print skirt and instantly fell in love with its Kobo-like qualities. It was originally maxi skirt length but I had it shortened and doubled to give it some presence. Soon I will pair it with these sweet Alexander Wang leopard open toe shooties that I'll buy with all the money I saved from thrifting the skirt. It's possible.
I also spotted this ombre snake-print wonder top by FY2, 100% silk and so light it shouldn't be real.
My cousin was kind enough to let me play dress-up. Unfortunately, we couldn't tag down a leopard in time for the shoot...
